Frobig v. Gordon (The "Tiger" Case) 124 Wn.2d 732, 881 P.2d 226 (1994)

After being attacked by a Bengal Tiger while assisting in the filming of a commercial, the plaintiff sought damages for personal injuries from, among others, the landlords who leased the property where its owners kept the tiger. Representing the landlords, and arguing before the Washington State Supreme Court, Magnuson Lowell's Rick Lowell was successful in convincing the justices that the landlords did not have a duty to protect the plaintiff from harm from the tenant's tiger.
